My Dream Wedding
The Knot’s Gay Marriages issue was published just in-time for the DOMA ruling!! What an exciting time in our history. I had the opportunity to share my fabulous dream wedding color palette, pink and purple, and tips on how to style an elegant affair!
The table:
Soft flowers, elegant calligraphy, modern furniture and gold accents create a romantic table setting that’s rich but not too fussy.
The bouquet:
A bouquet made of tightly clustered garden roses, ranunculus and carnations in varying shades of pink
and purple—is a fresh departure from the typical monochromatic design
The cake:
This ruffled sugar design shows off one of our favorite cake styles: ombré, adding a delicate flower as a whimsical accent
The place setting:
A sleek black table offsets the romantic pink tones, giving the tablescape an edgier look. Square chargers are layered with a plum napkin and topped with a lace-wrapped place card.
