I’m so excited to be headed to Atlanta for the weekend. I’ll be introducing the new product line I designed with Thirstystone. We used my new series of paintings as inspiration: Sea Life!

Art Space at The Soho House Miami

Last night I was the host of a talk called Art Space at the Soho House Miami. It was such a fun and FABULOUS night! I painted an original piece throughout the night; one of the audience members purchased the painting and the proceeds went to charity.

I gave people my tips on how to decorate a room…. Pick your most expensive piece first, add your paintings and wall art last and choose your paint color second to last.

It was an amazing night and big big THANK YOU to Soho House for having me!

Design Tip Thursday: Quick Bedroom Makeover!

Giving your bedroom a complete makeover does not have to be expensive or time consuming. An easy and inexpensive way to make a fabulous impact is simply to……change that old and tired bedding honey.

A great way to keep things exciting is to change your bedding seasonally, this also is your chance to experiment with new colors, patterns and textures. Get some new throw pillows. Don’t be afraid. You don’t like it, change it. It’s simple, easy and FUN!

Adding visual interest with some new throw rugs, Take down those dusty old curtains and get a fresh pair, Don’t worry and just let yourself go for once. Transform that old room into something fresh, fun and new!

And…..speaking of bedrooms….I have to just let you in on some personal joy. I am so excited about the launch of my new bed and bath line, I had to just let you see a little preview. If you decide to give your bedroom a mini make over, send me those pics, I would love to see the before and after pics! Send them to me on Facebook or through Twitter. Remember, have fun and WERQ out your makeover!

House of Rock: Final Product

I know I showed you all a sneak peek of what I was designing for the House of Rock. Well here is the final product! I am so happy with how this turned out. The LA Times featured my room last week. So COOL! All of the amazing chain was a generous donation from Shop Wild Things; check out their website HERE.

Hey loves, do you remember back in March when I asked your opinion on those 12 top-secret room designs?

Well you all were amazing and gave me such great feedback on what you LOVED, hated and even craved! I took all of the suggestions and used them as my inspiration to design a new line of bed and bath products.

At the end of the day, YOU are my most important client! I need to know that you want these products for yourself, first and foremost.

Next week I am using the products as featured elements in three rooms I designed, to be on display during New York City’s Home Fashions Market Week. All of the industries finest creative “eyes” will be checking out OUR designs!

Before I open up the forum to the retail and design public, I need your help one more time! Please let me know your thoughts and opinions on the three rooms… Let me know what you love or what you don’t by giving me a “nod” or a “nah”. Hopefully you all will be nodding away!

With your help we hope that In a few short months the products will be available in stores, and I can’t wait have everyone send me pics of how you style them in your home!
